I found the place rather underwhelming and overpriced for what it offers, though the trip out there was still enjoyable. I went with low expectations after reading about it but didn’t want to miss one of Tangier’s well-known sights. In reality, the Caves of Hercules are simply an open rock formation, with the main highlight being the view of the sea through the natural opening. Unfortunately, the entrance fee felt too high for such a limited experience.
